Board Selects New Director
Director Preston Doege resigned as Lost Creek Board Director because he is moving out of the Lost Creek neighborhood. After interviewing several very qualified Lost Creek residents, the Board selected Ms. Leah Stewart to replace Mr. Doege.
Leah lives at 6108 Turtle Point Drive in Lost Creek and has been a happy Lost Creek resident since 2003. Born and raised in northern Virginia, Leah and her husband Tim Beets, a native Texan, settled in Austin after finishing school. With their two sons, Sam and Charlie, Leah and Tim take advantage of all Lost Creek has to offer, including its parks, swimming in nearby Barton Creek, hiking to Sculpture Falls, and Lost Creek Neighborhood Association festivities. Although she dreams of owning a lot compatible with a pool, she loves her neighbors on Turtle Point too much to trade for another wonderful Lost Creek home.
Leah has a B.S. in Genetics from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia. She practice healthcare regulatory law at Beatty Bangle Strama PC. Although a busy law practice and motherhood leave little free time, Leah and Tim love to hike Big Bend and other national parks, enjoy fishing, boating, and swimming at the lakes, and exploring Central Texas.
