NOTICE OF MEETING LOST CREEK MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT

TO: THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF LOST CREEK MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT OF TRAVIS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND ALL OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Lost Creek Municipal Utility District of Travis County, Texas, will hold a regular meeting in the Community Meeting Room of the Lost Creek MUD Office located at 1305 Quaker Ridge Drive, Austin, Texas, on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. to consider and act on the following matters:

(a) Approve preliminary budget for 2008-2009 fiscal year
(b) Proposed Maintenance and Operations Tax Rate for tax year 2007
(i) Adopt proposed maintenance and operations tax rate for tax year 2008
(ii)Establish the date for a public hearing regarding adoption of final maintenance and operations tax rate for tax year 2008
(iii)Authorize publication of notice and such other action as may be necessary to proceed with adoption of a final maintenance and operations rate for tax year 2008
(c) Discussion and action regarding the employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of public officers and employees

The Board of Directors may go into Executive Session, if necessary, pursuant to the applicable section of Subchapter D, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, of the Texas Open Meetings Act, on any of the above matters. No final action, decision, or vote will be taken on any subject or matter in Executive Session.
