Barton Creek Cleanup Day

It’s “spring cleaning” time of the year again and to that end all Lost Creek residents are invited to join your friends and neighbors in helping to “Keep Lost Creek Beautiful” by participating in our own Barton Creek Cleanup Day on:

Saturday, April 5, 2008*
9:00 a.m. – noon

The cleanup targets Barton Creek by the low-water bridge and the greenbelts which lead into it.

Meet at the Lost Creek MUD office at 1305 Quaker Ridge to get started. You will be given a map of the greenbelt areas to clean and their access points. Wear old work clothes. Trash bags and plastic gloves will be provided.

To get you started, participants will be treated with breakfast tacos, donuts, juice and water. Community Service certificates will be given to volunteers who are members of organizations that require service hours. Environmental badges will also be awarded to both Boy and Girl Scouts who take part in the Cleanup.

So get outside for a couple of hours and join in the fun of cleaning up our neighborhood while meeting some of your fellow neighbors!

Join the fun and help keep Lost Creek beautiful!

* The Cleanup will be cancelled if it rains.
